Who you?
Time and again
I meet them,
Intruders into my space, my freedom
Sometimes friends and sometimes others
They invade my personality.
I live my way,
And I am what I am,
There is me in everything I do,
But me is me and you is you.
I seldom judge of who you are,
Why judge me of my actions?
I am kinda quirky and kind of straight
But my friend, I am not on rebate.
Whoever said there is a right way to live,
I am no perfect or wannabe
Have you heard of idiosyncrasy?
Of modesty or diplomacy.
I want to believe what I do
They might be illusions, but they are mine
You stand by yours
And let me wallow in mine.
I ain’t competing here
I am completing my dreams here
Let me be,
Live our own lives, will we?
I meet them,
Intruders into my space, my freedom
Sometimes friends and sometimes others
They invade my personality.
I live my way,
And I am what I am,
There is me in everything I do,
But me is me and you is you.
I seldom judge of who you are,
Why judge me of my actions?
I am kinda quirky and kind of straight
